About the role
Responsibilities
- Manage the daily operations of the Finance and Accounting Department for the UK launch
- Oversee Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable processes
- Define and control processes for local invoicing, finance, and collections
- Liaise with external parties including customers, vendors, lawyers, and government authorities
- Prepare financial information required by local authorities and manage tax compliance
- Prepare cash flow reports, forecasts, budgets, and actual results analysis
- Perform month-end reconciliations, including fixed assets and bank statements
- Support the financial leadership team with project funding and risk assessment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
- 5 years of relevant finance experience
- At least 1 year of experience in a managerial capacity
- Strong understanding of local UK taxation regulations
- Advanced Excel skills
- Fluency in English to communicate with global stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- CPA certification
- Experience working in fast-paced, dynamic, or high-growth environments
