Finance Manager (Investments)

Responsibilities

• Oversee financial management, performance analysis, and governance of the Group’s investment portfolio.
• Monitor and analyze performance across multiple asset classes, including equities, funds, fixed income, and structured notes.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual portfolio performance reports, including variance analysis and key metrics like IRR, MOIC, DPI, and NAV.
• Develop and maintain complex financial models for investment valuation, portfolio monitoring, and performance analysis.
• Execute internal control reviews and compliance checks to ensure adherence to IFRS and Group financial governance standards.
• Oversee investment reconciliations, including custodian statements, broker reports, and portfolio valuations.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning related to investment income, capital calls, and distributions.
• Act as a key liaison between the investment team, auditors, tax, treasury, and other finance functions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification such as CFA, CA, CPA, or ACCA.
• 6–8 years of experience in investment finance, private equity, corporate finance, or FP&A.
• Strong expertise in financial modelling, valuation, and performance analysis.
• Deep understanding of investment metrics (IRR, MOIC, NAV) and financial instruments.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with investment reporting systems, Bloomberg, or portfolio management platforms.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
