Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day accounting for the US Parent Entity, including journal vouchers and routine entries.
• Oversee monthly book closures and prepare consolidated financials in coordination with the India finance team.
• Maintain AR hygiene by publishing weekly overdue trackers and partnering with Account Management for collections.
• Manage AP discipline by routing vendor invoices for approval and preparing weekly payment runs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for billing query resolution and process improvements.
• Support internal audit readiness by providing evidence and walkthroughs for owned financial areas.
• Ensure US sales tax compliance and reconcile tax data with tools like Avalara.

Requirements

• MBA or Chartered Accountant qualification.
• 3 to 5 years of professional experience in finance roles.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting standards including GAAP and IndAS.
• Proficiency in MS Office and experience with accounting ERP tools such as QuickBooks Online or Zoho Books.
• Strong analytical acumen and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working within a SaaS industry environment.
• Familiarity with Stripe and Avalara.
• Experience managing direct and indirect taxation.
