Responsibilities

• Ensure timely monthly close and statutory/US GAAP financial reporting
• Administer payments, banking, and cash control while meeting AML/KYC requirements
• Manage external financial audits and ensure timely resolution of findings
• Coordinate tax, payroll, and statutory compliance with external advisers
• Monitor working-capital health and cash-conversion KPIs
• Run local planning calendars for budgets and forecasts
• Coordinate inventory control and audits with site and logistics teams
• Maintain administrative records and entity governance
• Enforce internal controls and regulatory compliance for the Querétaro entity

Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• BS in Accounting (MBA/CPA/Chartered Accountant preferred)
• ERP proficiency, preferably JD Edwards E1
• Advanced Excel skills including pivot tables
• Experience as a local controller or finance manager in manufacturing or distribution
• Experience working with third-party payroll and statutory providers
• Experience with companies importing goods from the US
• Fluency in Spanish and English
• Strong knowledge of Mexican statutory reporting and banking regulations
• Strong organizational and time management skills
