Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage daily cash management, including processing multiple daily supplier and customer payments with high accuracy.
• Ensure all daily bank, cash systems, ledger controls, and reconciliations are completed on time.
• Handle communications with suppliers, customers, and banks regarding payment queries and issue resolution.
• Execute month-end closing processes, including balance sheet and P&L close, journal entries, and balance sheet substantiation.
• Liaise extensively with Group Treasury, Trading, Product Control, and other departments across the Marex Group.
• Identify opportunities to improve or automate manual processes in collaboration with technology teams.
• Assist with internal and external audit activities and support other entities within the Recycled Metals Business.

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar finance role.
• Part-qualified or QBE (Qualified by Experience) finance professional.
• Highly proficient analytical and numerical skills with the ability to troubleshoot complex data.
• Advanced MS Excel and MS Office skills.
• Experience working within a regulated environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with both Front Office and control functions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within a commodities business or financial services sector.
• Knowledge of physical and derivatives trading.
• Experience using CTRM systems such as Brady or Quor Fintrade.
