About the role

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coach team members to uplift capability, consistency, and confidence in business partnering.
  • Prepare and analyse management accounts, providing actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organisation to provide financial guidance and support business requirements.
  • Prepare Board and leadership reports, including detailed commentary.
  • Evaluate investment proposals and business cases using commercial rigour and ROI analysis.
  • Lead financial strategy, budgeting, and forecasting for Shared Services and support client-facing areas.
  • Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities aligned with strategic goals.
  • Develop financial forecasts and projections to support strategic planning and growth.

Requirements

  • Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CA or CPA equivalent qualification.
  • Strong background in management accounting, financial analysis, and business partnering.
  • Proven leadership and coaching capability to manage and mentor teams.
  • Demonstrable experience leading national teams through business planning processes.
  • Strong proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis tools such as Excel and Power Query.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Workday Adaptive Planning is highly advantageous.
