Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead the financial control, reporting, and compliance function for Friendi Pay.
• Prepare monthly management accounts, variance analysis, and lead financial reviews with the CEO.
• Manage the annual budgeting cycle and maintain rolling 12-month forecasts.
• Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual close in accordance with IFRS.
• Prepare statutory financial statements and ensure alignment with management reporting.
• Act as the primary finance contact for auditors and the Central Bank of Oman.
• Prepare and submit all required regulatory returns applicable to a Payment Service Provider.
• Manage external audits end-to-end, including the preparation of audit schedules and documentation.
• Oversee accounts payable, vendor payments, invoicing, and receivables.
• Manage corporate tax, VAT, and withholding tax filings in compliance with Oman regulations.
• Manage and develop the finance and accounting team.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA, CA, or CPA is preferred.
• 5–8 years of progressive finance experience, including audit, control, and IFRS reporting.
• Prior experience in banking, fintech, or regulated financial services.
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS.
• Hands-on experience leading external audits.
• Proficiency with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics, SAP, or Oracle.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
• High attention to detail and the ability to meet strict deadlines.
