Finance Manager, Aviation Investment & Leasing

Responsibilities

• Drive analysis and assess asset-level and portfolio-level returns including IRR, NPV, cash yield, and MOIC.
• Design, maintain, and audit advanced financial models incorporating debt structures, tax considerations, and maintenance cash flows.
• Evaluate financing alternatives such as secured debt, warehouse facilities, ABS structures, and equity partnerships.
• Oversee lease classification, revenue recognition, and depreciation/impairment analysis in coordination with accounting.
• Analyze market trends, fleet demand, and aircraft lifecycle dynamics to inform investment strategy.
• Monitor lease performance, cash flow stability, and asset residual value trends.
• Provide executive-level reporting and investment committee presentations.
• Collaborate with corporate treasury on funding strategies and refinancing initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in aviation finance, aircraft leasing, structured finance, or related investment roles.
• Advanced financial modeling expertise with high Excel fluency.
• Deep knowledge of aircraft leasing cycles, asset valuation, and secondary market dynamics.
• Working knowledge of lease accounting standards such as ASC 842 or IFRS 16.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA or CPA designation.
• Proven track record of executing complex investment transactions.
• Strong executive communication and stakeholder management skills.
