Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage and forecast multi-cloud (AWS, GCP, Azure) and data center hosting costs.
• Perform detailed month-over-month variance analysis of hosting expenses and report on key operational and financial metrics.
• Prepare and present budget vs. actuals reporting to business partners and executive leadership.
• Partner with FinOps and Engineering teams to identify and execute cost optimization opportunities.
• Provide leadership to technology teams regarding financial management, resource prioritization, and allocation.
• Conduct ROI analysis on new initiatives and contribute to long-range financial planning.
• Improve and scale forecasting, reporting, and financial analysis processes utilizing Anaplan.
• Monitor trends and key levers, such as headcount and vendor investment, against planning assumptions.

Requirements

• Experience in FP&A, accounting, management consulting, investment banking, or similar roles.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel for building and improving complex financial models.
• Experience with Anaplan or similar financial planning tools.
• Strong written and oral communication skills with experience presenting to business partners.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SaaS/Cloud Computing business models and financial concepts (e.g., FinOps, cloud cost management).
• MBA degree.
