Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end budgeting and forecasting processes for the Amgen India site
• Act as a strategic business partner to leadership, providing actionable financial insights and decision support
• Drive financial performance tracking, including variance analysis and business metric reporting
• Support strategic decision-making through complex financial modeling and scenario analysis
• Partner with accounting teams to ensure accuracy during the financial close process
• Lead finance transformation initiatives, including automation and the adoption of digital tools
• Collaborate with global FP&A teams and cross-functional stakeholders to align local processes with global standards
• Ensure adherence to internal financial controls, policies, and regulatory compliance

Requirements

• Extensive experience in financial planning, forecasting, and performance management
• Proven ability to translate complex financial data into meaningful business insights
• Strong expertise in financial modeling and data analytics
• Demonstrated experience in business partnering and stakeholder management within a matrixed environment
• Experience in team management and driving staff performance
• Educational background meeting one of the following: Doctorate with 5+ years of experience, Master's with 10+ years, or Bachelor's with 12+ years of Finance experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation
• Experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry
• Proficiency with advanced planning and ERP tools such as Anaplan, Hyperion, or SAP
• Advanced skills in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
• Experience supporting senior executives in an advisory or FP&A capacity
