Finance Manager

Responsibilities

• Own LP/investor reporting cycles, including monthly and quarterly packages and data room management
• Act as the internal counterpart for investors' finance and portfolio teams
• Maintain controlling setup including P&L, cost center tracking, and variance analysis
• Own the month-end close process and coordinate with external accountants on VAT and year-end
• Build and maintain internal dashboards for real-time visibility
• Own the financial model, rolling forecasts, scenario planning, and cash runway visibility
• Drive the annual budgeting process and manage headcount and OpEx plans
• Oversee AP/AR, vendor payment runs, and direct junior staff/interns

Requirements

• 4+ years in finance with startup or high-growth company exposure
• Solid command of German GAAP (HGB); IFRS familiarity is a plus
• Fluency with financial modeling in Excel or Google Sheets
• Experience owning investor reporting in a VC-backed environment
• Working-level proficiency in German and English
• Ability to operate independently and communicate clearly

• Experience with planning tools like Mosaic, Runway, or Pigment
