Finance & Insights Manager

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic financial leadership, analytical insight, and business partnering to drive sustainable performance.
• Lead, manage, and coach finance team members to develop analytical and strategic capabilities.
• Drive finance operations, including month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processes, ensuring accuracy and timely reporting.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes in alignment with business strategy.
• Act as a trusted finance business partner to commercial, operational, and functional leaders.
• Oversee tax reporting, VAT returns, and compliance with SARS and other regulatory requirements.
• Manage external audit processes and ensure adherence to group finance policies and accounting standards.
• Drive process improvements and efficiencies within finance operations and reporting systems.

Requirements

• Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)).
• Minimum of five (5) years of management experience in a finance leadership role.
• Strong experience in financial analysis, modelling, budgeting, and forecasting.
• Proven experience in tax reporting and month-end processes within a multinational environment.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and perform effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
• Strong commercial and marketing finance experience.
• Exposure to transfer pricing in an inventory-based environment.
• Proficiency with finance systems such as Sage and Cognos.
