Finance Director

Responsibilities

• Serve as a core member of the finance leadership team, reporting directly to the divisional CEO.
• Lead monthly P&L performance reviews to provide commercial insights and recommend actions for improvement.
• Manage a hybrid finance team across Canada and the UK to ensure seamless financial support and control.
• Oversee the Canadian budgeting process and develop historical and future trend analyses.
• Review the commercial accuracy of Capital Expenditure Requisition (CER) forms and optimize capital deployment.
• Monitor the performance of renovations, new centers, and ad-hoc initiatives against company benchmarks.
• Mentor and develop the Financial Controller, Junior Finance Analyst, and Divisional Accountant.
• Oversee the growth and cash flow management of the Striker bowling installation and parts business.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree or diploma in Business, Finance, or Accounting.
• Certified Accountant designation with proven financial accounting skills.
• Proven experience in team leadership and people management.
• Strong background in both financial accounting and commercial finance.
• Ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on operational delivery.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills to build relationships across organizational levels.
• High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
