Finance Director

Responsibilities

• Act as a key financial partner to the President, CFO, and management teams
• Support business decisions through rigorous financial and operational analysis
• Participate in client proposal development to evaluate profitability and risks
• Oversee accounting operations and ensure compliance with legal and tax obligations
• Lead budget processes, continuous forecasting, and treasury management
• Lead, support, and develop the Mikros Animation finance team
• Collaborate with Rodeo FX Group to align financial practices and tools

Requirements

• CPA designation or equivalent qualification strongly desired
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A
• Proven experience in a management or financial leadership role
• Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and treasury management
• Ability to analyze project profitability, margins, and cash flow
• Fluency in French and English (oral and written)
• Proficiency with ERPs, financial systems, and advanced Excel

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a project-oriented environment such as media, animation, VFX, or video games
• Experience with NetSuite or Flow
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, complex, and ambiguous environment
