Finance Director

Responsibilities

• Act as a key financial partner to the President, CFO, and leadership teams
• Support business decisions through rigorous financial analysis and risk identification
• Participate in client bidding processes to ensure project profitability and budget accuracy
• Supervise accounting operations and ensure compliance with legal and tax obligations
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
• Manage and develop the Mikros Animation finance team
• Optimize financial processes and systems in collaboration with the Rodeo FX Group

Requirements

• CPA designation or equivalent highly preferred
• Minimum 10 years of experience in finance, accounting, or FP&A
• Proven experience in a financial leadership or management role
• Demonstrated expertise in reporting, budgeting, and cash flow management
• Ability to act as a business partner to non-financial stakeholders
• Proficiency in advanced Excel and ERP systems (NetSuite or Flow experience is an asset)
• Fluency in both French and English (written and spoken)
• Experience in project-oriented industries such as media, animation, VFX, or gaming is a strong asset
