Finance Director

Responsibilities

• Lead the comprehensive financial strategy and operations of Big Ticket, supporting the executive team in shaping long-term business direction
• Drive the annual planning cycle, including budgeting, quarterly reforecasts, and multi-year financial plans
• Partner with the Commercial team to evaluate pricing, prize structures, draw economics, and marketing investment effectiveness
• Oversee board and management financial reporting, ensuring key KPIs and risks are clearly communicated
• Maintain accountability for the integrity of financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS and statutory reporting
• Oversee tax compliance, including UAE Corporate Tax and VAT, as well as treasury and cash management
• Lead financial dimensions of player fund safeguarding and anti-money laundering to meet GCGRA requirements
• Act as the senior finance lead for UAE gaming regulation and represent the company with auditors, banks, and regulators

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (ACCA, CPA, CA, or CIMA)
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline
• Minimum 15 years of post-qualification experience
• At least 5 years in a CFO, Finance Director, or VP Finance role within a commercially focused, regulated business
• Prior GCC experience is essential
• Strong knowledge of UAE Corporate Tax and VAT
• Proficiency with Microsoft Dynamics 365 or an equivalent ERP
• Experience with Power BI and modern FP&A/reporting platforms

Preferred Qualifications

• Big 4 trained background (Deloitte, PwC, EY, or KPMG)
• Experience in gaming, lottery, financial services, or consumer subscription industries
• MBA, CFA, or equivalent postgraduate qualification
• Working proficiency in Arabic
