Finance Data Insights Release Management Vice President

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end release and change execution across Finance data platforms, including planned and ad hoc events
• Coordinate testing and quality activities such as regression testing and anomaly detection
• Drive high-velocity, well-controlled change by ensuring governance, approvals, and documentation
• Identify, assess, and escalate risks with clear mitigation plans
• Lead and develop a team through coaching, prioritization, and capacity planning
• Embed AI-assisted analytics and automation into release execution and quality controls
• Establish and track operational KPIs like release lead time and change failure rate

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years of experience in release/change management or program/project management
• Demonstrated experience managing release/change events with focus on risk and controls
• Strong data analytics skills and advanced Excel proficiency
• Experience coordinating testing, quality validation, and root-cause analysis
• Proven stakeholder management and data storytelling skills
• Advanced skills in metrics, reporting, and executive-level PowerPoint presentation
• People leadership experience including coaching and performance feedback
• Experience using AI-assisted analytics or automation tools

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile delivery mindset with experience using Jira and JQL
• Background in Financial Services or Consulting
• Experience with modern data platforms such as Databricks
• Familiarity with Data Mesh concepts and cloud strategy
