ClarityPay is a fast-growing fintech redefining the point-of-sale credit market. Based in NYC and Atlanta, we empower large merchants with configurable "Pay-Over-Time" tools, including monthly installments and BNPL products. Having recently closed our Series A, we are scaling our operations and building the financial infrastructure to support our next phase of growth.
Responsibilities
- Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data across loan originations, portfolio performance, and merchant transactions
- Build and maintain clean, reliable datasets and data pipelines to support recurring finance and risk reporting
- Perform ad hoc analyses to answer business questions across credit, product, and finance teams
- Support monthly reporting, investor updates, and board materials with data pulls
- Analyze portfolio-level metrics including origination volumes, delinquency rates, and cohort performance
- Build and maintain dashboards in BI tools to provide real-time visibility into key metrics
- Partner with Risk and Product teams to analyze credit performance and track new feature impact
- Use Python to automate recurring data pulls and reporting workflows
- Partner with engineering to ensure data quality and flag anomalies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 2–4 years of experience in a data analyst or financial analyst role
- Strong SQL skills including complex queries, joins, and window functions
- Proficiency in Python for data analysis (pandas, numpy)
- Experience with BI tools such as Looker, Tableau, or Power BI
- Ability to communicate data findings clearly to non-technical stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with consumer lending, fintech, or financial services data
