Finance Controller - Tax & Treasury

Responsibilities

• Manage tax matters including transfer pricing, corporate tax, tax accounting, and filing to optimize financial impact
• Handle tax control and litigation while liaising with tax authorities
• Ensure all Sub Saharan Africa affiliates maintain sufficient liquidity to meet medium-term needs
• Coordinate the implementation of Group tax strategy and monitor changes in the tax environment
• Produce and reconcile key month-end reports regarding Balance Sheet and Cash Flow for all SSA markets
• Analyze working capital needs, including receivables, inventory levels, and accounts payable movements
• Develop short-term cash forecasting and collect actual Cash In Cash Out (CICO) from affiliates
• Support the financial consolidation process and ensure bottom-up budget accuracy
• Maintain productive relationships with banks, financial institutions, and local tax authorities

Requirements

• Graduate degree in Accounting, Business, Taxation, or an equivalent field
• Qualified Accountant status (ACA, CIMA, or equivalent)
• 3-5 years of experience in Audit Consulting or as a Financial Controller
• Proven experience working within multinational companies or the FMCG sector
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
• Strong technical competencies in cash management, financial accounting, and analytical thinking
