Finance Business Controller

Responsibilities

• Help stabilize and accelerate the monthly close process to build a reliable reporting cadence.
• Review and monitor revenue performance and key subscription metrics such as Gross Adds, Churn, ARPU, and NRR.
• Act as a strategic business partner to commercial, sales, and operational teams to provide actionable insights.
• Collaborate on building budgeting and forecasting processes, including KPIs, Revenue, EBITDA, and Cashflow.
• Prepare Monthly Business Review decks in direct collaboration with the CFO.
• Support the group-wide rollout and optimization of the new ERP (Oracle NetSuite).
• Strengthen internal controls around subscription revenue recognition, including deferred revenue and multi-year contracts.
• Drive cost awareness and track synergies during the integration of new acquisitions.

Requirements

• Degree in Finance, Business, or Accounting.
• 5–6 years of experience strictly in controlling or FP&A.
• Advanced Excel skills and strong financial modeling capabilities.
• Hands-on experience with subscription/SaaS business models or FMCG companies.
• Fluency in revenue recognition principles.
• Professional fluency in English.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in a PE-backed, scale-up, or post-acquisition integration environment.
• Proficiency in Italian.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite or involvement in major ERP implementations.
• Familiarity with data tools such as SQL, BI platforms, or AI.
• Knowledge of French or German.
