Finance Budget Manager

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary finance business partner for plant leadership, providing financial insight and decision support.
• Provide direct people leadership to two finance team members, including coaching and performance management.
• Manage the end-to-end plant planning process, including forecasting, budgeting, and standards.
• Oversee multiple cost centers and operational budgets such as labor, scrap, and indirect spending.
• Oversee fixed asset integrity and compliance at the site level.
• Develop and evaluate financial business cases to support capital decisions and operational initiatives.
• Lead financial review meetings to identify deviations and create action plans for cost performance.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 5 years of finance and budgeting experience, OR
• Master's degree and 4 years of finance and budgeting experience, OR
• At least 8 years of finance and budgeting experience.
• Advanced Excel and PowerBI skills.
• Strong data analysis skills and SQL knowledge.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as Infor LN, SAP, or PeopleSoft.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of leadership or people management experience.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing operations and key performance metrics (NPOT, HPU, scrap, productivity).
• Ability to perform causal analysis and translate operational drivers into financial results.
• Excellent executive-level communication skills.
