Finance - Broker Dealer Analyst

Responsibilities

• Support daily and monthly financial reporting activities, including reconciliations and balance sheet substantiation for broker-dealer operations.
• Assist in monitoring and analyzing desk P&L and expense accruals to ensure accurate reflection of trading activity.
• Identify and investigate data discrepancies or breaks by collaborating with front office, operations, and finance teams.
• Support regulatory and management reporting, contributing to liquidity, working capital, and financial control processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements under the SEC, FINRA, NFA, CFTC, and other applicable bodies.
• Adhere to the operational risk framework and escalate risk events immediately.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or master's degree in a related field.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future sponsorship (including F-1, J-1, M-1, CPT, or OPT).
• Genuine interest in financial reporting, controls, and broker-dealer operations.
• Strong analytical skills and high attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in Python for data analysis, scripting, and automation.
• Familiarity with SQL and database querying languages.
