Finance BI Developer

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain dashboards, apps, and reports by translating functional requirements into user-friendly, flexible outputs.
• Act as the primary point of contact for worldwide finance business partners regarding new reports, enhancements, and best practices.
• Balance business requirements with technical feasibility and manage stakeholder expectations.
• Conduct user research and evaluate feedback to establish and promote design guidelines and standards.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the latest BI tools, principles, and visualization practices.
• Communicate strategically and concisely with both business users and technical staff.

Requirements

• Expert level proficiency with PowerBI.
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Design, Finance, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of BI development experience, including creating dashboards, apps, and reports.
• 5+ years of experience in BI visualization with a strong understanding of best practices.
• Strong analytical, programming, and visual storytelling skills related to business reporting.
• Excellent teamwork, relationship development, and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Deep knowledge of data visualization best practices focused on enhancing user interaction and experience.
• Skilled developer in additional BI tools such as Qlik View, Qlik Sense, or Tableau.
• Working knowledge of database structures, concepts, SQL, and data warehousing.
• Appreciation of system analysis methodologies, standards, tools, and techniques.
