Finance Associate

Responsibilities

• Own and manage Finance activities for Marex Brazil, working closely with global Finance teams
• Lead the transition of finance activities from Operations into Finance
• Design and implement a robust financial control framework, including payments and cost accruals
• Act as the main Finance liaison in Brazil with Group Legal Entity Control, Treasury, and Product Control
• Support the build-out of the Finance function in a growing business and region
• Contribute to global Finance initiatives such as SOX, balance sheet substantiation, and monthly P&L
• Partner with Brazil Operations and global CFOs on strategic and operational initiatives
• Ensure compliance with relevant global and local regulatory requirements
• Operate within Marex’s operational risk framework and escalate issues as required

Requirements

• Strong experience in Financial Control, Accounting, or Finance within regulated environments
• Ability to operate effectively in a global, matrixed organization
• Hands-on, proactive mindset with proven experience driving process improvement and change
• High standards of integrity, control awareness, and meticulous attention to detail
• Ability to take high levels of responsibility in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
