About the role
Responsibilities
- Confirm purchase orders have been goods receipted
- Match invoices and purchase orders
- Record invoices on the register and save digital copies
- Resolve workflow issues with Purchase Order creators
- Process bi-weekly employee expense claims
- Perform supplier reconciliation, payments, and allocation
- Upload bank payments and obtain approvals
- Handle petty cash posting and reconciliation
- Support internal and external audits with AP documentation
- Identify process gaps and recommend improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or commerce
- 0-1 years of experience in accounts payable
- Fluency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Must be a UAE national with family book
- Strong numeracy and analytical skills
- Ability to work in a fast-moving, pressurized environment
