Finance Assistant

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare financial forms, check account balances, and facilitate purchases
• Perform routine calculations and produce analyses and reports for the finance director
• Manage individual accounts, create and send invoices, and follow up as needed
• Collect and enter data for financial spreadsheets; review and audit statements and reports
• Reconcile discrepancies by communicating with employees and clients
• Prepare payroll payments and assist with regular financial reporting
• Attend department and company meetings and suggest process improvements

Requirements

• Excellent mathematical skills and understanding of data privacy standards
• Integrity, honesty, and customer-service skills
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with business principles and practices
• Superior attention to detail, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and calculation software
• Must own a Mac computer and be fluent with Apple ecosystem (iOS, macOS, iWork)
