Finance Assistant

Responsibilities

• Process and prepare financial and business forms, check account balances, and facilitate purchases
• Perform routine calculations to produce analyses and reports as requested by the finance director
• Oversee and manage individual accounts, create and follow up on invoices
• Collect and enter data for various financial spreadsheets
• Review and audit financial statements and reports for accuracy
• Reconcile discrepancies by conversing with employees and clients
• Prepare payroll payments and assist with regular financial reporting
• Adhere to financial policies and suggest improvements for accuracy and efficiency

Requirements

• Excellent mathematical skills and understanding of data privacy standards
• Integrity, honesty, and strong customer-service skills
• Solid written and verbal communication abilities
• Familiarity with business principles and practices
• Superior attention to detail, organization, planning, and analytical skills
• Proficiency with spreadsheets and calculation software on Mac
• Must own a Mac computer and be fluent with Apple ecosystem software (iOS, macOS, iWork)
