Finance and Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Supervise the accounting for six operational entities in France and one in Belgium under US GAAP and French GAAP
• Manage a direct report and coordinate with external service providers and shared service centers
• Guarantee the reliability and timely completion of financial closings and reporting to the US headquarters
• Review financial statements and provide global supervision of legal entities
• Manage tax obligations (corporate and statutory) and annual reporting in collaboration with auditors
• Ensure compliance with local tax regulations, SOX requirements, and internal controls
• Coordinate with HR, payroll, and treasury to ensure accurate accounting integration
• Support growth operations including acquisitions, divestitures, and integrations
• Contribute to continuous improvement of accounting processes, controls, and practices

Requirements

• 8+ years of professional experience, ideally in an industrial environment
• At least 3 years of experience in financial management
• Mastery of US GAAP (knowledge of French GAAP and IFRS is highly appreciated)
• Fluency in both English and French is mandatory
• Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with ERP systems
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
• Experience in an international environment with group reporting requirements
• Experience in a Big Four international audit firm is a plus
