Finance and Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Oversee accounts payable and receivable, vendor payments, and customer collections
• Manage payment schedules and vendor communications using RAMP and QuickBooks
• Lead month-end and year-end close processes, including reconciliations for bank accounts, inventory, and fixed assets
• Maintain accurate general ledger and financial systems using accrual-based accounting
• Collaborate with Operations on pricing and COGS analysis
• Partner with Co-Founders on annual and departmental budgets
• Produce monthly, quarterly, and financial reports and variance analysis
• Own payroll for full-time employees and independent contractors
• Prepare and file sales tax payments

Requirements

• 5-7 years of experience including leading strategic initiatives
• Advanced proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Ramp
• Advanced Excel skills
• Proficiency with Google Workspace
• Familiarity with ERP (Odoo) or inventory management platforms
• Experience managing individuals or leading small teams
• Ability to interpret complex financial data for non-finance stakeholders
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• MBA in Finance
• Experience using Justworks or other PEO systems
