Finance and Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage financial reporting in accordance with IFRS and local GAAP
• Analyze financials to identify key drivers and opportunities for financial optimization
• Develop accounting quality and ensure reliable internal control systems
• Prepare ongoing financial reports, including budgets and rolling forecasts (RFC)
• Manage the month-end closing process and report results to HQ
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure timely reconciliation of all transactions
• Oversee accounts receivable collections and accounts payable payments
• Lead a small team of accounting professionals
• Manage relationships with external providers for tax, audit, and payroll services

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or financial management
• Bilingual proficiency in French (spoken and written) and English
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certification such as CPA or CMA
• Experience in the freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics industry
• Proficiency in SAP FC and CargoWise
