Finance and Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage financial reporting in compliance with IFRS and local GAAP
• Analyze financials to identify drivers and optimization potential
• Develop accounting quality and ensure reliable internal control systems
• Prepare ongoing financial reports, including budgets and rolling forecasts
• Support month-end closing processes and reporting to HQ
• Maintain accurate financial records and manage transaction reconciliations
• Oversee accounts receivable collections and accounts payable payments
• Lead a small team of accounting professionals
• Manage relationships with external tax, audit, and payroll providers

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in accounting or financial management
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and local GAAP
• Advanced Excel skills and proficiency in MS Office
• Fluent in English (both spoken and written)
• Strong analytical, organizational, and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree or professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA)
• Industry experience in freight forwarding, transportation, or logistics
• Proficiency in SAP FC and CargoWise
