Finance and Accounting Manager

Responsibilities

• Lead financial reporting and payout operating functions to assess the impact of company initiatives and projects.
• Manage and implement finance and accounting projects, including requirement design, UAT, and workflow monitoring.
• Identify and drive opportunities for process and technology improvements within the payout function.
• Provide financial performance analysis and reporting to support management decision-making.
• Manage day-to-day financial activities, ensuring compliance with regulations, accounting principles, and internal controls (SOX).
• Supervise month-end closing processes and provide oversight, training, and coaching to department associates.
• Coordinate with various operations and support units to ensure accurate data for internal and external reporting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 5-10 years of experience in finance operations (Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, or risk control).
• Proven experience at a management level.
• Strong project management experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and presentation tools like PowerPoint.
• Solid knowledge of local and US GAAP.
• Fluency in spoken and written English.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA certification and an audit background.
• Experience leading large teams.
• Experience in payment solutions or a credit card environment.
• Knowledge of SQL, data analysis tools, and Excel Macros.
• Previous accounting experience within the online travel agency (OTA) industry.
