Finance Analytics Engineer

Responsibilities

• Extract, transform, and integrate financial and operational data from multiple sources
• Deliver end-to-end analytics and reporting solutions, including KPI definition, backend data preparation, and visualization dashboards
• Design, build, and maintain automated and reusable data pipelines to support analytics and reporting
• Write and optimize complex SQL queries to support analytical use cases
• Use data preparation and automation tools like Alteryx to streamline transformations
• Work with enterprise data platforms including Microsoft Fabric, Azure, and Snowflake
• Collaborate with business and functional stakeholders to translate reporting needs into data solutions
• Apply financial and business context to ensure analytics outputs are accurate and meaningful
• Communicate insights, trends, and drivers clearly through dashboards and stakeholder discussions

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in analytics, BI, or data-focused roles
• Strong proficiency in SQL
• Experience with Alteryx, Python, or similar tools
• Exposure to BI and data engineering use cases
• Familiarity with financial data concepts such as trial balances, P&L, and revenue data
• Experience supporting finance, accounting, or business teams preferred
• Ability to explain technical insights to non-technical stakeholders
