Finance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day Purchase to Pay (PTP) tasks including Accounts Payable, expense processing, and month-end closing activities.
• Process vendor invoices, credit memos, and debit memos accurately and in accordance with WPP policies and SOX requirements.
• Handle payment processing, including generating payment selection files, managing bank communications, and processing T&E claims.
• Reconcile vendor statements, resolve discrepancies, and perform account reconciliations and journal entries during month-end close.
• Support global process initiatives to streamline and automate PTP workflows and system enhancements.
• Maintain vendor master data and ensure correct contact details for payment beneficiaries.

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of relevant experience in a shared service environment (fresh graduates may be considered).
• Basic knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
• Knowledge of SOX Compliance norms.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Office 365.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and attention to detail skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience working within a Shared Service Centre (SSC).
• Experience using ERP systems.
