Finance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Complete record to report general accounting activities, including journal entries, accruals, and prepayments.
• Perform timely and accurate monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations in compliance with group policy.
• Ensure all supporting documentation complies with SOX and internal/external audit requirements.
• Address GL-related queries from stakeholders and escalate identified issues.
• Analyze accounting transactions for reasonableness and prepare documentation for management or auditors.
• Collaborate with superiors on process improvement and automation initiatives.
• Support internal and external audits by attending to queries and information requests.

Requirements

• Professional Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.
• Basic understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and finance.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage time to meet deadlines.
• Adaptability and a willingness to learn new software and concepts.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, including PowerPoint.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy in accounting processes.
• Experience with Oracle (R12 or Cloud) or OneStream systems.
