About the role
Responsibilities
- Coordinate month-end closing activities for the COC division, specifically managing rebates, ship/debits, and distributor promotional activities.
- Manage accounting entries and maintain related internal controls.
- Lead sustainable processes for tracking, forecasting, and executing ship/debit deductions.
- Validate and audit ship/debits to mitigate financial discrepancies.
- Support rebate tracking, analysis, and the processing of rebate payments and promotional credits.
- Drive division finance process improvements through digital and AI-related solutions.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support business goals and objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
- 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial and management accounting, including systems, compliance, and reporting.
- Proficiency with core finance and productivity tools: SAP, Power BI, Power Query, and Databricks.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills for both one-on-one and executive settings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Performance Excellence methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean processes.
- Previous experience working with distribution customers.
