Finance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Participate in month-end general ledger (GL) close and reporting of entity results
• Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries
• Execute internal controls in accordance with the Haleon Internal Control Framework
• Perform variance analysis and analytical reviews of profit and loss accounts
• Collaborate with stakeholders and functions such as P2P, O2C, Stat, and Tax to ensure successful month-end close
• Provide Record to Report support, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timeliness
• Resolve general accounting and reporting issues related to cycles, fixed assets, and payroll
• Provide guidance and on-the-job training to other analyst members within the team
• Support dividend payment processes and related cashflow analysis/projections
• Participate in compliance audits and respond to audit queries

Requirements

• Degree in Finance or Accounting
• 2-3 years of experience in general ledger and financial reporting
• Experience in financial accounting, statutory filing, or auditing
• Proficiency with SAP is required or strongly preferred
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Mandarin
• Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to manage workloads to meet strict financial deadlines
