Finance Analyst

Responsibilities

• Act as a controlling master data steward for profit centers, cost centers, internal orders, and hierarchies
• Perform month-end closing reconciliation, cleansing activities, and issue resolution with EMEA Finance colleagues
• Manage monthly recharge processing via Blackline
• Provide BU IT EMEA controlling, including budgeting and reporting
• Support G&A EMEA controlling and the Black Book planning process
• Ensure compliance with local regulations, GAAP, and Corning accounting policies, including Sarbanes-Oxley Section 404 documentation

Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
• 3 to 5 years of experience in cost accounting or financial analysis, preferably in a manufacturing setting
• Hands-on experience with SAP FICO (Controlling, Cost Centers, Profit Centers, etc.)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, SAP, and PowerBI
• Fluency in both English and German (verbal and written)

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with data management across multiple platforms
• Experience with Performance Excellence methodologies such as Six Sigma or lean processes
