Finance & AI Automation Intern

Responsibilities

• Use AI tools and basic Python or no-code platforms to automate data cleaning, categorization, research, and reporting
• Support financial analysis, reporting, reconciliations, and month-end data preparation
• Track equity financing, convertible instruments, and financing timelines; maintain cap-table, dilution, and funding trackers
• Conduct market, peer, and investor research and prepare clean, well-sourced summaries

Requirements

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Finance, Economics, or a related field
• Strong aptitude and genuine interest in AI and technology; comfortable with basic coding (e.g., Python) or simple automations
• Able to read a basic P&L or eager to learn financial systems and work with data
• Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented with a drive to find smarter ways to work

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in or exposure to capital markets, fundraising, equity/debt raising, or SEC filings
• Familiarity with Python, no-code automation tools (e.g., Zapier, Make), or AI coding assistants
• Prior projects built with AI or code, including class or personal side projects
• Bilingual Mandarin Chinese is a plus
