Finance & Accounting Professional

Responsibilities

• Analyze relationships between complex operations, related contracts, and financial transactions
• Utilize and update computing systems to effectively and efficiently record financial transactions
• Design and evaluate control steps in financial processes to improve accuracy
• Improve financial and accounting processes across the organization
• Provide financial support to operating and financial organizations to assist in business decisions
• Participate in job rotations to build diverse skills in areas such as fixed asset accounting, revenue accounting, and planning analytics

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with a GPA of 6.0 or above
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in Accounting or Finance activities
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, practices, and relevant laws and regulations
• Proficiency in English and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Experience with accounting systems such as SAP, Group Reporting, Blackline, or Workiva
• Proficiency with analytics tools (e.g., PowerBI) and Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) designation
• MBA degree
• Experience in Fixed Assets, Joint Interest, Cost Recovery, or Revenue & Royalty
• Exposure to US GAAP and IFRS accounting standards
• Experience working in large accounting or auditing professional firms
