Finance & Accounting Consultant

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with accounting and compliance, including year-end closings, audit assistance, and financial statements
• Manage tax compliance tasks such as corporate tax and VAT returns
• Support reporting needs including management reports, budgeting, and financial health analysis
• Provide temporary assignment support for general accounting, credit control, and internal optimization projects
• Act as a trusted business advisor for startups, scale-ups, and large multinational companies
• Collaborate with team members and provide on-the-job coaching and supervision

Requirements

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in finance, economics, or a related field
• First relevant professional experience in finance or accountancy
• Fluency in Dutch and good written and spoken English
• Tech-savvy with a willingness to work with digital financial processes
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and an entrepreneurial mindset
• Experience with Exact Online or ERP systems is a plus
