Finance Accounting Associate

Responsibilities

• Manage the production and review of global client invoices, including OOPS (Out of Pocket Expenses) and asset management billing.
• Ensure the day-to-day delivery of accurate, consistent, and timely invoice deliverables across various global business lines.
• Drive ongoing process improvements and automation within the global billing function.
• Monitor and assess performance and progress towards established goals.
• Work independently to manage timelines and maintain an "owner's mindset" regarding billing accuracy.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance.
• 2 to 4 years of experience in a global billing function within a large financial services institution.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, and workbook maintenance).
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to summarize complex financial transactions.
• Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite (Access, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
• Knowledge of billing systems and conceptual understanding of financial architecture (GL, sub-GL technology).
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment under high-pressure deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with billing methods for Custody services, Sub-custodian, and Trust services.
• Demonstrated history of improving invoice functions across multiple geographies and business areas.
