Finance Accountant

Responsibilities

• Prepare and own monthly balance sheet reconciliations across assigned accounts
• Perform monthly reconciliations across wallets, exchanges, custodians, internal records and the general ledger
• Prepare digital asset movement schedules and supporting workpapers
• Own delivery of month-end close tasks and prepare supporting schedules
• Maintain monthly intercompany loan schedules and reconciliations
• Perform P&L reviews, identifying and explaining unusual movements and variances
• Provide support during statutory audits and respond to auditor queries
• Document recurring finance processes and propose improvements

Requirements

• Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) close to finalist level
• Practical experience in month-end close, balance sheet reconciliations, and intercompany processes
• Strong Excel and Google Sheets skills for building reconciliation workpapers
• High attention to detail and commitment to audit-readiness
• Ability to work with ambiguity and shifting priorities

Preferred Qualifications

• Interest in or exposure to Web3, blockchain, and digital assets
• Exposure to NetSuite or similar ERP systems
• Experience supporting UK statutory audit and tax processes
