About the Company

Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends. We automate how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies.

Responsibilities

• Shoot and edit customer stories films in an entertaining and cinematic manner
• Influence pre-production (scouting, shot lists, pre-interviews) and own production (camera, lighting, direction) and post-production (rough cut through final delivery)
• Build out Ramp's NYC equipment kit by specding and sourcing gear
• Pull social derivative cuts from every shoot for paid, organic, and sales content
• Communicate and liaise with cross-functional partners to explain creative decisions

Requirements

• 5+ years of film production in commercial and documentary-style work
• Experience as a self-shooter who owns the entire edit process
• A reel featuring character-driven work that finds human stories in business contexts
• Background in indie filmmaking, post-production houses, or film-leaning production houses
• Proven ability to ship social-cut formats from long-form documentaries
• Proficiency with AI editing and post tools such as Descript, Runway, or Adobe AI
• Ability to travel frequently for on-location shoots
• Based in NYC or SF

Preferred Qualifications

• Strong stills photography skills
• Drone certification
• Strong connections to filmmaking industry collaborators (editors, sound, lighting)
• Experience working alongside an in-house creative director and customer marketing lead
