Film Production Finance Executive

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary point person for specific productions, working closely with internal cross-functional teams to maintain and share information and reports
• Proactively maintain and administer production finance infrastructure and systems, including location-specific requirements, ATL payment schedules, and cash flow exposure
• Liaise with producing partners’ finance and accounting teams regarding receiving reports, invoicing, cash flow, and tax credits
• Manage accounting staffing for assigned projects throughout development, prep, production, and post-production
• Oversee on-set accounting responsibilities including accounts payable, payroll, and journal entries for the full project lifecycle
• Provide guidance and oversight to on-set accountants regarding onboarding, processes, and accounting manuals
• Track and process studio-based development and delivery payments and fees to talent and partners
• Oversee the accounting wrap and delivery process for production and post-production
• Manage staffing for various audits, including tax credits, insurance claims, union audits, and partner-specific audits

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, or a related field
• 5 years of experience in Production Finance or a Production Accountant-related occupation
