Film and Media Program Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage administrative, student, and faculty-facing operations for the undergraduate and graduate Film and Media Studies program
• Assist with class scheduling, maintaining curricular requirements, managing awards, and graduation certification
• Maintain student listservs, event calendars, and shared digital archives
• Manage the program's operational budget, reconcile accounts, and prepare financial reports
• Coordinate faculty searches and support the graduate student admissions process
• Manage website updates in collaboration with the Office of Communications
• Serve as the primary liaison for planning and implementing public events, conferences, and orientations
• Coordinate logistics for visiting speakers, including travel and accommodations

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and/or equivalent related experience
• Minimum of 2 years of related administrative or program management experience
• Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
• Strong organizational, proofreading, and editing skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to handle confidential information and work with diverse populations

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree
• Knowledge of cinema and cinema history
