About the role
Responsibilities
- Perform visual inspections of IV bag assemblies for proper fill volume, expiration dates, and lot numbers
- Fill IV solutions into various bag sizes and place them into protective over-wrap
- Use scales to weigh filled bags at regular intervals to ensure accuracy
- Load sealed assemblies onto sterilizer trucks and sealing machines
- Document reject counts and perform rework on bags when necessary
- Adhere to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP)
- Maintain a clean and safe work area using 6S principles
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED required
- Experience in a manufacturing or quality role within a GMP environment
- Experience in the food or manufacturing industry
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced assembly line setting
- Ability to pass an ergonomic assessment to ensure capability for essential job duties
- Flexibility to work weekends if required
