Filler Operator

Responsibilities

• Operate purity filling equipment and production machinery safely and efficiently
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and aseptic controls without deviation
• Collect product samples and perform routine testing to ensure quality specifications are met
• Set up portion control materials, coders, and validate product codes
• Perform equipment change-overs, CIP/SIP, cleaning, and equipment set-up
• Maintain accurate production records and documentation
• Operate lift trucks safely and perform routine equipment adjustments
• Adhere to all GMP, Food Safety, and occupational health and safety procedures
• Work the night shift schedule from 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in food manufacturing (dairy experience preferred)
• Working understanding of food manufacturing acronyms such as SQF, HACCP, and GMP
• Ability to obtain lift truck (Powered Industrial Truck) certification
• Strong math, computer, and data entry skills
• Ability to work the designated night shift (6PM - 6AM)
• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced quality or food safety training and/or certifications
• Experience using SAP software
