Fill Zone Technician

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a cryogenic air separation plant to ensure reliable and efficient performance
• Perform and facilitate maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on plant equipment
• Adhere to company, customer, and regulatory safety work policies
• Monitor process performance and adjust operations to maintain safety, reliability, quality, and efficiency
• Collect and interpret trends in equipment and process condition monitoring data
• Perform and document preventive and predictive maintenance tasks using a computerized maintenance management system
• Engage with cross-functional groups to assist with troubleshooting, maintenance scheduling, and materials procurement
• Execute lock out tag outs and propose improvements to enhance plant reliability

Requirements

• Industrial operating experience in a production environment
• Proficiency in mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and industrial instrumentation
• Knowledge of controls and HMI software such as Wonderware, Rockwell, or Siemens
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, including P&IDs and schematic wiring diagrams
• Ability to safely operate forklifts, cranes, and aerial work platforms
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs, work at heights, climb, and perform confined space entry
• Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, holidays, and provide call-in coverage

Preferred Qualifications

• Associate Degree from a technical school
