Fighter/Attack Aircrew Training Subject Matter Expert or Senior Consultant

Responsibilities

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in fighter/attack pilot training and tactics development for 4th and 5th generation aircraft.
• Design, develop, and deliver innovative technical learning solutions and courseware tailored to aircrew requirements.
• Instruct advanced pilot training courses and evaluate program effectiveness using operational data and customer feedback.
• Develop CONOPS/Mission Assurance plans and perform pilot simulator verification/testing using Full Mission Simulators (FMS).
• Operate the Instructor Operating Station (IOS) to execute approved training syllabi.
• Support military pilots in maintaining qualification levels through upgrade and tactics training.
• Collaborate with Boeing training teams and customer representatives to meet mission objectives.
• Ensure strict adherence to site security, access control, and the handling of classified media.

Requirements

• Extensive experience as a Pilot or WSO in Fighter/Attack roles.
• Deep knowledge of 4th and/or 5th generation high-performance fighter aircraft.
• Demonstrated expertise in pilot training, tactics development, and training evaluation.
• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
• Ability to travel domestically and internationally between 10% and 50% of the time.
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively across diverse functional areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• 10+ years of related work experience or higher education.
• Proven ability to lead the design and delivery of complex aircrew training solutions.
• Familiarity with effective flight instruction methodologies and AETC experience (e.g., SUPT or IFF instructor pilot).
• Technical proficiency in crew resource management, flight planning, and advanced aviation skills.
• Experience in comprehensive course development, including syllabus and multimedia resource creation.
