About the role
Responsibilities
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert in fighter/attack pilot training and tactics development for 4th and 5th generation aircraft.
- Design, develop, and deliver innovative technical learning solutions and courseware tailored to aircrew requirements.
- Instruct advanced pilot training courses and evaluate program effectiveness using operational data and customer feedback.
- Develop CONOPS/Mission Assurance plans and perform pilot simulator verification/testing using Full Mission Simulators (FMS).
- Operate the Instructor Operating Station (IOS) to execute approved training syllabi.
- Support military pilots in maintaining qualification levels through upgrade and tactics training.
- Collaborate with Boeing training teams and customer representatives to meet mission objectives.
- Ensure strict adherence to site security, access control, and the handling of classified media.
Requirements
- Extensive experience as a Pilot or WSO in Fighter/Attack roles.
- Deep knowledge of 4th and/or 5th generation high-performance fighter aircraft.
- Demonstrated expertise in pilot training, tactics development, and training evaluation.
- Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally between 10% and 50% of the time.
- Strong interpersonal skills to interact effectively across diverse functional areas.
Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of related work experience or higher education.
- Proven ability to lead the design and delivery of complex aircrew training solutions.
- Familiarity with effective flight instruction methodologies and AETC experience (e.g., SUPT or IFF instructor pilot).
- Technical proficiency in crew resource management, flight planning, and advanced aviation skills.
- Experience in comprehensive course development, including syllabus and multimedia resource creation.
